IMPRO’s 50cm High-Resolution GOKTURK-1 Satellite Data is Now Available to SkyWatch Customers

September 11, 2024 — SkyWatch is thrilled to announce the addition of IMPRO Satellite Image Processing and Telecommunication Inc. (IMPRO) high-resolution satellite data to its ever-expanding platform. A worldwide distributor of the high-resolution reconnaissance data from its GOKTURK-1 satellite, IMPRO is the latest addition to SkyWatch’s impressive roster of high-resolution data sources.

IMPRO’s mission is to become an Image Processing Excellence Center. Launched in 2016, the GOKTURK-1 satellite provides very high-resolution imaging, including 50cm optical, stereo, and tri-stereo data, across a global coverage area, enhancing the scope and precision of Earth observation for diverse applications.

IMPRO’s GOKTURK-1 50cm satellite imagery is versatile, supporting applications in Mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Agriculture, Urban Planning, and Natural Resources, among others.
